HOLLYWOOD HAUNTS THE WORLD on RavenStar's Witching Hour!

On November 8, 2025, Solaris BlueRaven interviewed me on her podcast, Ravenstar's Witching Hour. You can hear the entire show at the bottom of this post. Solaris and I perform a deep dive into the history of esoteric cinema in the form of a two-hour long discussion about my latest nonfiction book, HOLLYWOOD HAUNTS THE WORLD: AN INVESTIGATION INTO THE CINEMA OF OCCULTED TABOOS (published by Headpress).

By my count, this marks the tenth time Solaris has interviewed me (either on Ravenstar's Witching Hour or Hyperspace). I miss appearing on the late, lamented Hyperspace mainly because the private discussions that occurred between each commercial break with KCOR Radio founder Tina Marie were often far more intriguing and salacious than whatever the hell I was talking about at the time! Perhaps one of these days KCOR will rise again from the ashes of the Nevada desert. In the meantime, you can listen to my previous appearance on Ravenstar's Witching Hour by clicking HERE... and for my latest appearance on the show, simply scroll to the bottom of the screen...

PRAISE FOR HOLLYWOOD HAUNTS THE WORLD:

"In HOLLYWOOD HAUNTS THE WORLD, Robert Guffey takes his readers for a trip behind the magic curtain to reveal the true Wizards at work - those behind the lenses, making magic and moving the secret levers. To this end, Guffey plays the role of Toto, tearing the curtain aside to reveal these flesh and bone Wizards of the military-industrial-entertainment complex, and the occult role they play in influencing our inner dreams and everyday realities."

--Adam Gorightly,
author of SAUCERS, SPOOKS, AND KOOKS
and THE SHADOW OVER SANTA SUSANA: BLACK MAGIC, MIND CONTROL, AND THE MANSON FAMILY MYTHOS

"Hollywood has truly haunted the world. So too should this book, one of the best ever written on American cinema."

--Gary D. Rhodes,
author of THE PERILS OF MOVIEGOING IN AMERICA and TOD BROWNING'S DRACULA,
from his Foreword
