Is it possible that the subject of this 4-28-20 New York Post headline ("Man in Gorilla Costume Arrested After Entering Wrong Home") saw William Nigh's 1940 film THE APE (starring Boris Karloff, with a screenplay by Curt Siodmak) one too many times?

"A man wearing a gorilla costume allegedly terrified a six-year-old girl when he mistakenly entered the wrong home in Tennessee, police said.
"Richard Muzick, 31, waltzed into the back door of the residence while donning the primate getup at about 2 p.m. on Sunday and was confronted by a man in the backyard shortly after, according to police in Mt. Juliet, Tenn.
"When confronted by the man, Muzick darted away in full gorilla gear and was located by officers nearby."
